I ordered the new G2500 GPS Ready car mount on the 21/01/04, they were showing the shipping date for the week previous so I thought they were in stock..........how wrong I was (or how misleading was the site!)

It is now the 13/02/04 & still no mount. I received an email this morning stating they did have some in at the weekend but hey have now all gone & would have to wait for the next batch to come in. I would not be surprised be if most people got this message.

Having paid the extra for express shipping, which now over 3 weeks later seems a bit pointless, I am looking to see if they are obtainable in the UK.

Please, please let me know if I can get this mount in the UK.

I have ordered the G2500 and I still haven't got the it . However the uk site does not offer the accessories. May be you need to make sure that they have the item in stock before ordering it. .

It arrived yesterday!

Minus the GPS lead which they will be posting on.

The unit itself is great but the external speaker is a bit muffled so I just use the 2210's speaker which is fine. The charge lead from the cigar lighter to the mount had a fault which I emailed them about (loose connection I think) to which they emailed me straight back stating they would be sending a replacement with the GPS lead.

All in all a bit of a bad experience that ended well.
