I hope they fire the project manager and the engineers(s) who designed the software in the first place for being terminally stupid. |

Yes! My only fear is other stations transmit traffic data for the likes of trafficmaster, will it just latch on to one of them? Why not just select UK and it hopes between each classic FM frequency entil it finds a signal strong enough? Nah, that'd be too easy! |

Register for TomTom Plus services (free) and subscribe to TomTom Traffic (not free). Pair your phone with your TomTom via Bluetooth (you'll need to have full Internet access via GPRS, if not sure call you mobile provider) and go through the wireless set up procedure (semi-automatic) on your TomTom
You can have free trial of TomTom Traffic for one month. |

Interesting development for me with Tomtom today.
I upated my email query to them 2 days ago regarding the ongoing issue and their solution to update the software to the version I was already running (see my previous post).
Anyway, they had not responded so I called this morning and was told that this was a known fault and that there would be an update out soon but they did not know when (strange as we know another update is due out in the next week). I accepted this and left it at that.
Funny thing is that this afternoon they have updated my query and raised an RMA for the receiver and have asked me to return it to them through UPS and wait for a repair or a replacement! It looks like they have decided mine is faulty.
The saga continues . . . . . . . . . |
