First question..Is it possible ?

My company has thoughtfully bought me a VDO Dayton System ( MS2000 ) with Navteq On Board.

I Have been running a PDA with Tomtom 5 and want to continue to use the camera database.

Is it possible to add the camera database to Navteq as it appears that the system does not support custom POI's i wonder how much i can do with it. If i cannot add the cameras it's debateable wether i will keep it.

Thanks in advance

Not possible I'm afraid. The manufacturers are looking to producing systems that can accept custom POI data such as Speed Cams on an SD card but none have yet made it to market.

One of the many reasosn why your PDA Nav system is a better device than a £1000+ built-in or after market nav system!

Yes, I've edit the Navteq maps in my BMW to include these. See http://www.x5world.com/navigation-system/2055-mkiv-point-interest-movie.html?highlight=POI
