I have a street pilot i3 software version: 2.70/Audio version: 2.00, and when I went to Bury St Edmunds from Hertfordshire last week I came off the A1m and onto the A505. I then carried on against the instructions to take the first exit , I went onto the new (nearly 1 year old) A505 Baldock by pass. It kept trying to make me turn off but there were no turns as I was now on a new motorway. I eventully by passed Baldock and carried on the A505 which is then again on to the old road towards Royston.
My problem....When I plug my unit into my pc I get a latest upload automaticlly for P.O.I's but not uddates to new roads or even speed cameras.
So PLEASE what do I need to do.
Be gentle you experts.... |

Switch the i3 on then go to Settings/ Map and select MapSource if it displays "City Navigator Europe NT+ v8" then this is the latest map, if it says v7 then you need to upgrade the device. Garmin were offering a free upgrade earlier this year, whereby you sent the TF card to them for re-programming. If you have v8 on there already you have the most upto date map - Mike |

It's also worth pointing out that the Baldock Bypass is so new it's not in the v8 maps either, but should be in the v9 maps when they are released next year. |

Hi. So how much do these new maps cost and does it mean that you have to buy a new card to get the latest maps. I have v8, but I'm thinking how will I get v9 when it's available. Bibbage |

Does anyone know how the V9 maps will be sold by Garmin? Their US website only lists a full Navigator NT Europe upgrade, not a UK one.
Or do you think it will be just a new SD card with the UK on? |
