Welcome to the forum, the one thing that I find strange in your post you state you have the TTN for "Pocket PC" where your devce is a smart phone (the two are very different devices),
You might want to visit the tomtom support pages and download the latest version for smart phone and install that, try THIS there are also some installation help guides on the same site - Mike |

Thanks for the comments, I was under the impression that they run the same software. Tomtom do not say they support the SPV C500 only the C600, and I do not know the diffents. Thanks Bluboy2 |

The sofware use the same maps but they are quite different in the way they work, a Pocket PC phone has and uses a touch screen, a Smart phone does not, so the interface to the user is somewhat different.
I think you will find the SPVc500 is on the supported list if you want to have a look check it HERE
Just one other question it is the SPVc device and not the SPVm device you have? - as this makes a considerable diference to the advice, blame Orange for that confusion! - Mike |

Hi again Mike, Yes it a C500, the touch screen is something I did not think of, as I did have a HP2210 and I was hoping the smartphone would replace a phone and the 2210 I will look around before I pay to much out. thanks Blueboy2 |
