Hi,
Just downloaded and installed latest release of version 6 and so far it is working perfectly on my ttg 300.
It takes a while to boot up the first time you switch it on after installing.
As always, BACK UP your tomtom before installing the latest version. Just because it worked with mine does not mean you won't get a problem with yours. _________________ chauf4

Yep, same here, seamlessly made the jump from 6.12 to 6.14 without any problems at all. _________________ TomTomGo700

I just put 6.14 on my TTG300 and all is well.
I've also made a new data.chk file to include 15 of Vickies speed camera voice prompts from Rays site.
These ones
Gatso
Gatso 30
Gatso 40
Gatso 50
Gatso 60
Gatso 70
Mobile
Redlight
Spec 20
Spec 30

Temp Camera
If anyone else wants to try them (backup first) they are here.

tried it on my TomTom One last night and it seems to work well.
from memory i think that the download is 6 or 7 Mbytes
that won't be fun on dialup |

installed and did a test drive 6.14 ... everything went smoothly, one thing i noticed ... it took a few seconds calculating the shortest route compared with 5.44 and 6.12. but almost the same when calculating the fastest route. or maybe its just my ttg300 slowing down hehehe |

There have now been a few reports of people not being able to connect the Go via USB anymore after upgrading to v6.14.
Can anyone confirm that they CAN? |

After upgrading to 6.14, my GO 700 now asks me if I want to connect to a 'computer' when I connect to my PC via USB. Just select 'Yes'. |

Exactly the same on my TomTom One - no problems with this application update for me so far. Touch wood. |

Tell me, is it the actual SD card that's upgraded with the new application or the units own hardware?? |

Usually a bit of both. Mostly it's software on the SD card, but you will probably find (I haven't checked) that the bootloader version has changed too.
Check by removing the SD card and pressing and holding the on button. YOu will see the firmware details on screen. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Left it for 10 minutes and nothing. Have recopied the backup to the sd card and same thing happens. Need help. |
