i have purchased a new car with factory fitted sat nav system, it uses siemans vdo, i had a CD with it great britain and ireland 2005/2006, it does not matter where i am in wales i get this " not a digitised area message, can anyone clear this up and explain what the problem is

The only time I have seen this with an inbuilt system was when "Off the map", i.e. you are either off the road, or in an un-mapped area (airfields etc).
If you are experiancing this for anywhere in Wales it could be the area isn't mapped, or the map you have loaded needs to be changed.
I would sugest you take the car to an authorised dealer and ask them the question, your problem is more than likely going to be finding someone at a dealership that knows anything about the system. Mike
