Try getting them to replace faiulty goods. My brother bought and Ipaq with tomtom3 from them a year ago. Within days it had stopped receiving gps signals. They just refused point blank to discuss it, even when we went round to their warehouse with the faulty goods.

How can you get a company to acknowledge their legal obligations under sale of goods act, when they refuse to acknowledge your existence?

Jerry

Unfortunately, all you can do is take them to court.

Speak to Trading Standards first. They might be able to have a word.

Just a note to say that I have only used PDAMODS a couple of times. I bought a Holux GPSlim 236 Bluuetooth GPS receiver off them in Feb this year. Recently it started to fail to lock onto the satellites. I contacted Hloux to ask their advice and from the description I gave they agreed that it was faulty so they said I should contact PDAMODS as they are the seller.

I did so and got a very quick reply with an RMA number and instructions of how to return the unit. I packed the unit up and sent it back to PDAMODS on Thursday morning(29/6/06) guaranteed selivery for Friday. They sent the replacement unit back same day and I received it this morning (1/7/06) by recorded delivery.
I am very happy with the service I have received and hope others get the same.

Any one having a problem with faulty goods might want to print out this document and take it with them when they go to a supplier the first time with the problem.

Don't push it under their noses, but let them see it in your hand.

Who knows, you might just get a little more positive result first time around.

I had problems with these before, when I used eBay, they never answered there emails and never replaced the part that was broken.

I paid with paypal, and did not know back then, that I could apply for a part refund, pitty it too late now for me to do anything about it.
