|
|
Sorry about this chaps, I have recieved my 1gb viking SD card today and I hate to admit it, but I havent a clue which way to insert it ( the SD card that is ) on the side of it , it has a little yellow slider with lock on it, what is this for? and above the word viking there is an arrow pointing forwards. I`m afraid I have never used one before and am scared of shoving it in the wrong place.
Sorry again but any help appreciated.
Regards....Dil _________________ ***************************************

As you look at the i3 screen the transflash card contacts should be facing up and go in first, it clicks in to place. The transflash card slides inside the SD card but is only used for putting it in card readers or using it as a normal SD card.

Go on you know you want to , best thing I have done in ages (well nearly )
It`s a brilliant piece of kit, bluetooth, larger screen which helps when your eyesight is failing as you get past your fiftieth, nice and slim fits in your pocket and also mp3 player, which is why I am trying to get this bl**dy Sd card in. _________________ ***************************************

you can't put them in thewrong way. just push it in, if it goes all the way in then that's right, if not then flip it around! the 'cut offcorner' stops you putting it in the wrong way.
as for the slidy yellow bit, this basically write-protects the card, similar to the slidy bit on a floppy disk (if anyone remembers them!)
