I can't find where you can purchase i-Go and what does it cost. Is it available online or only though highstreet retailers? |

You can buy it in Hungary and Slovakia (most notably Bratislava) . Not sure if that is also possible online. Negotiations with resellers in other countries are still ongoing. _________________ Lutz

Thanks. Explains why haven't been able to find it anywhere. Any indications of cost? Is it going to be competitve or more expensive because of the card it comes with? |

Around £180 for the whole of Europe (including the astern Euopean countries on offer) compares quite favourably, I thought. _________________ Tim |

I guess you're right. I forgot about the Eastern European maps. It was also comparing it to Mapopolis and iGuidance.
Now if only they would sell it as a download or on DVD without the SD card. |

Does anyone know if you can buy iGO in the UK or is there an English language website out there. I'm desperate to get some decent Eastern European Maps before I go on holiday and the only websites I can find are in Hebrew or Hungarian!!
Cheers

I've answered my own question. I got a copy from "The Unbelievable Shop" formerly Aspid shop, see following link :
http://www.aspidshop.com/export/store/product_info.php?products_id=1747
Took 2 days to get here by Fedex. I've had a quick play with the software, pretty impressed so far, and the Central/Eastern european maps are far better than the competition.
Cheers

Can you copy it from one SD card to another SD/CF card or does it have to stay on the same card? _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |

Unfortunately it's locked to the card on which it was purchased.

That's a good point. Most questions have been about what happens if the card fails. They should at least let you backup to a spare card and allow just one activation in any six month period. Might be worth a question on the iGO section of the developers forum:
