Hi all
Please excuse beginner
Have found site at www.scdb.info that appears to be offering a pan european camera database for 9.95 euros. Am very happy with PGPSW datbase for UK but will be extensively touring in France this summer.
Currently have Garmin C510 deluxe working well with UK database and do not want to compromise this. Site appears based in Germany. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of this database?

For France you will rather want to use the camera database offered on gpspassion.com _________________ Lutz

Thanks for additional information, alternative sites viewed with interest.
However, I would go back to my original request for comment about the SCD site. The fact that helpful alternatives are offered kinda suggests there is something wrong with SCD site.
Are alternatives suggested better/cheaper (although gpsandco site appers to charge 36 euros) or is it just no-one has used SCD site?
Sorry if this is a pain, will understand if no more response.

I stay over in Belgium for a lot of the time and have been looking for a good pan european camera solution. After getting a flash in Berlin at 3am a few weeks ago in a German hire car I decided enough was enough so I recently paid the 9.95 euro for the SCDB site and have been very impressed with the coverage!
I've not checked it out a lot yet but every camera in Belgium seems to be there and all the one's in Poland plus France seems well covered from my recent trips. It's possible to get free access by confirming locations of cameras in their database. |
