Click here for the Globapsat iPOD bluetooth audio reviewI love my iPOD (I was a late convert) but sometimes it is too big and heavy to be used comfortably. This means that I either have to revert to my old MP3 player, something I find a little frustrating as it means I have to plan my musical listening. If my mood changes I am then stuck with the tunes I have pre-selected.

Globalsat have cured my problems with the BTA-809 and the BTH-820. These two neat devices combine to provide a Bluetooth wireless link between your iPOD and the headphones. Not only do they work with the iPOD but the BTH-820 is also a Bluetooth Headset for your mobile phone.

With simple plug and play functionality is the GlobalSat iPod iWAG Wireless Bluetooth Pack going to tick all my boxes? Click here to read the full review and find out...

Can somebody please delete this irrelevant off-topic review. It has nothing to do with GPSs whatsoever and doesn't belong on this site - especially not the front page.

I disagree - there is no harm in having other car / gadget related reviews. However, it would be nice for the Garmin Nuvi review (which is a SatNav device) to be published...

Funny that. MaFt has completed the review and I am currently formatting it up for publication...

Agree this is irrelevant. The review should be posted on an IPOD site

It's not a car related gadget. It's totally unrelated to cars or navigation. It's a device for using bluetooth headphones with an iPod. In the UK and most US states it is ILLEGAL to drive listening to music via headphones, so this product is not suitable for use in cars.

It could be a car related topic if anyone knows if you can then pair the Ipod with bluetooth to the bluetooth systems of car radios normally used for mobile phone pairing. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences? (I have a new Audi A6 on order with bluetooth phone system)

You might be right about that Nick, but I doubt it very much. Can you quote me the relevant section of the Road Traffic Act please.

I'm interested because I have my crash helmet fitted with headphones to listen to satnav, phone, two way radio, and, yes, horror of horrors, music (very loudly).

There are plenty of companies on both sides of the Atlantic manufacturing and selling this type of gear without any interference from the law. Take a look at www.autocom.co.uk for one example.
