Firstly, well done to everybody on the PocketGPS team on such a fantastic web site and forum. The upgrade works so much better than my wildest dreams. I used to be on a dial up connection at home and it was so slow before the upgrade.
One unexpected benefit of the upgrade is that the forum knows when you last signed on regardless of where you were and which PC you used when you last signed on. This means that I can check it at work and then at home by clicking on “View posts since last visit” and I don’t have to read threads twice.
One quick question: Is it possible to get notifications (i.e. of replies to threads that I’ve contributed to) sent to more than one email address? I’ve set up my “Real Email” in my account details as “me@work-email.co.uk, me@home-email.co.uk”. Will that send me notifications to both of my email addresses?
All I’ve got to do now, is to get Zone Alarm Pro to remember my PocketGPS account details every time I use the web site.

Thanks Robert, the new site and forums are a real blast now, and we aim to keep them this way. We've also got lots of new features planned for the future, stay tuned and watch the website for more info.
The old forum used to check with the cookie on your machine for the last access time, but the new phpBB forum checks a date field on the server (which really is the way it should be done).
Unfortunately there is no way of getting notification to two email addresses, phpBB just doesn't support it. I suppose you could always sign up a Bigfoot or similar account where you can forward mail to multiple addresses and change your email address in the forum to the bigfoot address, that would certainly work.
I suspect on ZA Pro you ahve the Ad Blocking or Cookie Control on ? I turn these off, as they're more hassle than they're worth. I found having these on denied me access to most websites with forums.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the reply. This is going to either impress or distress you. As you know I changed my email address, in my account last night, to include both my work and home email addresses, a comma separates them. I got a “Topic Reply Notification” for this topic sent to my home email at 20:37 last night, and this morning I found one had been sent to my work email address at the same time.
On ZA Pro, I have security pretty tight but I have it customised for PocketGPS World so that both Ad Blocking and Cookie Control are switched off. I’m sure that the overrides are exactly the same as the old PocketGPS site, which didn’t have a problem.

Excellent, I was pretty sure the incarnation of phpBB we're running with phpNuke didn't accept multiple email addresses. Superb!
The security settings required will be higher due to the site now using a completely new content management system behind the scenes and also a new forum system.
