What NMEA settings have yoy got?

Have you tried changing the NMEA settings to 38400? That's what bluetooth GPS receivers usually output at.

Yeah I have installed the update 5.2 which I downloaded from TomTom.
I started TTN and it didn't find any device, all it says is' Pair your PDA and GPS device, read your documentation for advice blah blah...'

It syas on the TTN com ports page that GPS is connected to com 9 : Infrared port. Then Com 3, Com 0 and Com 2 : Serial port.

TTN5.2 as updated will not offer me port 6.

TTN does seem to be turning Bluetooth off/on but like I said no ports.
Tried the steps that Mike suugested too but no luck.

Right, all this happened to me with TTN5.2 on first attempt after first spending time trying with TTN5. Like your situation Com 6 was not offered after the update (no idea why, maybe the GPS config is retained in cache). I have since used the procedure outlined previous without messing in TTN5 config without a problem.

So lets empty the cache and try again.
Though I never tried this path myself it is worth a shot as the final solution that worked for me involved a hard reset of the Kjam.

1.Press and hold the Kjam power button for 3 secs, (you will get the notification "Device will be off.......) hit "yes" this will turn off the device and empty the cache. Then restart the Kjam with the same power button. It will take a min or so.
2.Confirm GPS is set to Com 6 as per mikealders procedure.
3.Start bluetooth on the Kjam.
4.Start Tomtom and look in the GPS config and see if Com 6 is now showing in "other BT".

I know its painful, believe me I have been there.

Almost there. Do you have the blue/yellow spinning disc top right in the GPS config? If so all you now need to do is place the receiver with a clear sight of the sky (essential with your Nemerix type) and wait.

eureka!!!!! Got it working, not quite sure how but it feels like I've won the lottery! Seriously though I think I set it to the nmea or whatever its called setting and went outside my house and it found the satellites. Thanks Mullet and mike ( and others) for all your help, I thought I would crack up if I didn't get it working soon.

Enjoy!
May I suggest you buy a backup app like http://www.sunnysoft.com/en_clanek.php?clanekid=51.
It will save all the if anything happens in the future.
