Ok couldn't find this and it's probably dead easy, but I've entrered my personal POI then saw the MaFt ones so want to update but also want to keep my own ones. How do I save my own POIs into a folder to update?
Thanks.

Just add your POIs and their BMP files (if any) to the POI folder from MaFt and upload the whole thing to your Garmin. Each upload will delete all your previous custom POIs so you have to always add the new and old ones (POIs) to the same folder before uploading the whole thing. hope this helps. |

you mean to get your favourites off the i3? try this nifty piece of software that someone (can't remember who) on the forum found: www.easygps.com

I'm looking at writing a Windows application to do just this (without all the extraneous bells-and-whistles offered by EasyGPS), with a view to allowing i3 owners help contribute to the camera database. |
