Why presume such a thing? Just because it hasn't been announced here, perchance? _________________ Tim |

Furthermore, as a solicitor from a Magic Circle law firm, I can assure you that not advertising a particular retailer is not against any form of competition law/supposed "restriction of trade" in the UK. I would even be willing to provide pro bono legal support to the people who run this site, should PDAMODS attempt legal action, should their adverts be removed. |
I can assure you that checking the source IP Addresses and ISP's was one of the first things I did and there were no matches.
However the information in regard of accepting adverts is interesting and welcomed |
A small piece of SW called Hide IP will sort that out for them...easy to hide/change your IP address if you need to. _________________ What car in front???

I am not beholden to PDAMODS, have no affiliation with them and have never purchased anything from them; I am merely stating facts.
If you want to mount a one-man campaign against PDAMODS, please find another platform for that particular activity. _________________ Tim |

"Which Retailer is hot, and which is not ? You may find lots of good responses for a particular retailer, but when you purchase from them you get nothing but trouble, vent your frustrations"...
I thought that the forum was for this...By the way Tim the question is to Darren, who is supposed to be taking the issue of blatant false advertising up with them. _________________ What car in front???

Quite. Venting your frustrations is one thing. Continuing to do so ad infinitum is quite another.

Darren is away at the moment. Whilst he may visit the forum occasionally, he will probably not be overly active here for at least the next five days.
Can we have a truce until then, please? _________________ Tim |

I ordered a GPS Sllim 236 from PDAmods (er... I checked here AFTER ordering). I'm perfectly happy with them, gave me exactly what they said. Except any sort of speed camera database, which is fine.
So, I'm a happy PDAMods customer. |

Surely PDA Mods cannot be offering the PGPSW speedcam database with their items, because their adverts for TT5 states (on http://www.pdamods.com/products.asp?cat=103) "Free speed camera detection with the latest database of cameras for life"
So will the general public manage to get their £2.00 per month back from PDA Mods?, or will PDA Mods be giving away the PGPSW database, against the wishes of this site who want to sell it to the general public, and if so, is this against the rules of PGPSW, who would like to maximise their income?. |
