Hello from Madrid, after reading the review of this app. I tried to evaluate it and after downloaded during the set up process I got some messages on my PDA. I own an Axim 5 Performance with a Deluo CF GPS and with TTN 2. My question is why I got messages like this "do you like to replace the file xx" refered to several files. I anwsered not to all just in case, and the program did not run properly and I decided to uninsatlled it.
¿ any help ?
Thank you |

Sounds about right. GPSAssist is really overdue a rewrite - though that might not happen any time soon.

Hi savhana,
I agree with David. You should leave it off your Axim, until it's been updated. Not only does it overwrite those files you were asked about, it also dumps about 30 others into the Windows folder.

Thank you. I will follow your suggestions and wait for a new release. My main interest in this app. is to be able with TTN 2 to set intermediate destination points. Really this is something you miss with Navigator.
Regards. |
