GPS br305 _ mapviewer 2

I would like to know if mapviewer 2 works with the GPS BR-305 (with a clié 770)



I 've just buy the GPS with the cable for my clié, but it don't works with the palm! (I think that the GPS works because the led indication is normal)



the GPS works with nmea 0183 v2.2 and map viewer 2 with nmea 2.0 (i don't undersand anything, but for me that mean they sould works toogether)



NMEA monitor 3.3 don't detect the gps anymore



I may sent back the GPS to the shop, but I want to be sure that i'ts not un incompatibility

the connection cable is ok (I've just test it)



so can I test the GPS (globalsat BR-305) directly on a PC, the PS2 connector can be plug on the mousse port, I just need the good software to know

If you want to connect BR-305 to Laptop, you would need a PS/2 to USB converter cable. Pluging into mouse port would not work. In terms of the previous question, have you tried to select different com port?
