|
|
Well, I finally got my TT ONE from Currys online yesterday (now I just have to chase them to pricematch the new lower prices!).
I turned it on and played around with it for a few minutes – then it went dead!!!
Got a little worried, then connected it to the car and realised the battery was dead.
Do they usually send them with flat batteries, or does it suggest there’s something wrong with the battery and is it worth me taking it back to the store?
Any ideas? |

My first (faulty) one was fully charged - the second (working!) one was like yours - it has about 2 seconds worth of charge.

Mine was flat too,
turned it on hoping for a quick glimpse but ended up giving it a full charge.
I charge it for a couple of hours and the green light on the top stays on for some reason ... the battery bar shows full though.
should it not go off? |

Most batterys operated things are only supplied with an initial charge.
The power "rots" for want of a batter word after a certain time point degrading the battery life.
Hence why mobile/ipod batterys etc only last for 12-18 months before the life starts degrading. |

You can leave the unit connected to the charger overnight and it won't hurt it.
On the GO the green light indicates that it is still connnected to the charger. _________________ Richard
