I have Acer n35 which is pda with built-in gps. I have no problems getting satellite signals when using Copilot 5.1.0.7. However, when I switch to TT5, I would be lucky to get signals from more than 2 satellites whick often drops out.
I just do not understand this. How can signals seen by CPL5 not be seen by TT5? The signals coming into the pda must be same for both softwares, but obviously they are not. Please can anyone explain???? |

From what I have read on this forum it seems to be a serious bug with TT5 |

I am guessing by your version number that you are NOT using a standard version of CoPilot, possibly even the package from QVC.
Could it be possible that the hardware is configured/tweaked for CoPilot? |

Yes, it is from QVC. I don't think that it has be tweaked. From reception viewpoint, it is the same as the standard CPL5. The only differences are: 1) it has "full postcode search"; 2) it cannot get Euro upgrade; 3)no desktop setup; but 4)can get free CPL6 upgrade. |
