CD?

My friend has bought the I3 and it came with a USB cable. There was no CD in the box - should there be?
How do you update the maps as and when available?

although on the earlier maplin writeups it was stated the i3 would come with a software dvd in fact no cd is provided...all the mapping is on the transflash card...you cannot update the mapping on the card provided....

No there shouldn't be a CD - All info is already loaded on to the memory card. Everything else is on the GARMIN website and these forums.
