has anyone had problem when they turn their i3 on then go straight to view map then the screen just go blank but c something slightly in the background. i need help pls |

Yes peewee114 I also have had this problem. Bought my I3 just over a week ago now and after turning the unit on then going to either "view map" or "start navigating" the unit would appear to turn off. I also could see some VERY faint datails on the screen. Beleiving it to be a low battery I also tried connecting to car and computer usb but no good.
This was solved by re-setting the unit...turn off and then by holding down the "back button" and "wheel button" together and then press the turn on button. Select language, time format/zone and all should be ok.

had this problem due to low batterys ..on the power lead it was ok...have you got the lastest firmware (v2.4).. |

cheers pete102. i have tried that and hope it works. i have had it about 2 wks now and it done it about 3 or 4 times. im using 2.40 software |
