MN5 - wouldn't touch it. No Map Export and no new functionality

Totally agree with you here. Only Navigon knows why they even bothered to release it. _________________ Thanks,

Sorry I'm a bit late getting back to you all, but I can now report that I have purchased Mark's version of navigon 5.0 and have it up and running with a new activation number.
All went extremely well (apart from my email not getting to Navigon!), however I called them and they faxed me a form to complete for what thay call "Secondary Registration". The asked for the Original PDA ID, My PDA's ID and the serial number of the software, together with a letter from Mark confirming he had sold it to me. 30 minutes after faxing the form and letter to them, they called me with the new activation code!
I have since updated this to version 5.1 from their site, together with the latest UK map file.
I have also added poi Warner so that I can run the Pocket GPSWorld speed camera files plus a few others.
Must say I am very happy with it.
Users who complain about it's speed should note that Navigon state that it requires 15MB of free memory to run properly! so a bit of housekeeping might help....
I have also tried some different map colours (Navigon now have 3 on their site), but haven't found my perfect one yet. Does anybody know what the Level0 and Level3 files each do? I was thinking of trying to swap them around and use level0 from one skin and Level3 from another and see what happens!
Have fun!

Well, perhaps if you guys posted a few comments of how good Navigon was, that would be much easier..... :D
Try posting it on the "For sale and Wanted" forum, that's where I found my copy.
Cheers! _________________ Steve.

Ok - good stuff I can say about Navigon...... hmmmmm
I've posted it up there with no takers.
I'll keep it on the shelf for now. If ever they sort out the TMC issues I might look at upgrading. _________________ Thanks,

I am just glad you got the new codes etc to get it all up & running as you know I was worried that you would buy it from me then find that they would not give you the codes.
Glad you like it.
