Do Garmin do a UK Topographic MapSource?
I have not been able to find one on their site so I assume they don't do one?!
What I was after was more detail in places like the Brecon Beacons so I can see the high points and the gradient lines.
Anyone have any ideas?

They do a Topographic MapSource, but only currently for the US which is a real pain. I'd like to see a topo map myself. |

Yeah I saw the US ones were available and was a bit miffed when I couldn't find the UK one... any idea if they are working on one for the future? |

Thanks to the Ordnance Survey's monopoly on such digital map data this is unlikely. The fact that it is gathered using tax payer funding is another matter _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor |

Not that it makes much use, but there will soon be a Topo UK product for Magellan GPS Receivers. I suspect this will not be using OS, but another company, although no matter what you do in the UK, somewhere, somehow it all feeds back to OS. |
