AH
Here's a thought. If you hit the Quick Add Camera and store a camera.
What if you hit it accidently. Is it possible to remove an entry?
Thanks _________________ Regards

Yes, Just delete it like any other poi. Select change prefs, then move to the manage poi icon, and select delete poi. Type MyCameras in the input box, and select it. You'll then get a list of poi in the MyCameras group. Select the one you want to delete...

Scaredycat
Have looked at your site and there doesn't appear to be a new fix to pick up (since 24 July).
Has it been put there yet or could it be the cache on my ISP's servers.
Could you also indicate what the update covers?
Thanks

This version of autoswitcher differs from previous releases in the following ways:
1. Sleeps for 15 minutes before each check, so accuracy is going to be +16 minutes or less
2. Autoswitcher must ONLY be run from cleanup.txt
3. The start and stop icons don't actually start and stop Autoswitcher, they simply put it to sleep/wake it up.
If you don;t want to run it, remove it from cleanup.txt.
Because Autoswitcher only wakes up in 15 minute intervals, you may not instantly see the messages telling you that it's either paused or restarting.
You may have to wait for a maximum of 15 minutes to see the messages. Autoswitcher could be set to check every second but this would simply use cpu and battery. I could move the message to the trigger apps, but I assumed people would prefer to know when it's actually happened...
What's changed?
In order to eliminate issues of locked up Go's when runing an already running application I've changed the mechanism so that you only create signal's for the running application, you don't actually start it and stop it.

Thanks ScaredyCat. Great apps.
I just have a problem with the "What time is it" option. When I press it the time is an hour out, even when I try setting the timezone to various other times.
Any idea? |

@ Scaredycat
Hi .. I'm very new to this so please forgive any misdemeanors .....
Fantastic set of stuff for the tomtom700 ...well impressed .. thanks ...
I do have one small query ... using the "navigate to lat/lon" beta from the link on the first page ... I've sussed that - means west, + means east and that default (no sign) gives eastings... so I can enter an accurate easting eg 1.21.45, however if I want an westing the most I can input is -1.21.5 and for northings the same limit applies 51.23.6 .. it seems to be limited to 7 digits (including decimal point), such that you can only go to 1/10 of a second ... which is a pretty big "lump" ... now I'm probably doing something totally stupid ......
So please could you inform me what it is ??? I really would like to use this facility to navigate to an accurate lat/lon
Regards and thanks

I think that this is due to the Satsync going to sleep for 8 hrs so any changes to the timezone will not be applied until the next sync.
You can correct this quickly by changing the timezone and saving, switch off and then press the reset button. Allow it to power backup and once it has re-acquired the time it will apply the new timezone and you should get the correct 'What time is it'.
For ScaredyCat
In the UK current time is UTC/GMT +1, with the timezone set to +1 the 'What Time is it' app shows the correct time but the clock on the status bar shows UTC/GMT and consequently arrival time for a route is also UTC/GMT. Is there any way of changing this - So status bar time is also same as 'What Time'?
Also if you powerdown the Go with the 'What Time' App running it appears to freeze on next startup - I presume this pobably due to the app running at the time but would it be possible to reduce length of time it displays the time/date for? Only a minor niggle if at all but they are great apps. and otherwise work flawlessly on my TTG500. Great work. :D |
