Just want to say how useful I have found this site. I lurked for about three weeks having never had any kit like this before, and on Monday I went out and bought a TTG500, and although I am not at all 'techie' I had downloaded and installed the camera database in no time at all following the instructions.
I was tempted by the Garmin Quest as I can get marine maps for it, but when I handled one I thought it was just a wee bit small for my eyesight (not bad but not brilliant), had no NMEA outputs, and no audio warnings for cameras.
Thanks
Mit :D :D |

It's not nice to lure users off to a different forum |
