best case scenario - there's one activation left which you can use for your device
scenario 2 - no activations are left and you have to wait up to 6 months until you can re-activate
worst case scenario - the seller has upgraded to TTN5 and the TTN3 license is blocked - you have no more chance to either run it or upgrade it.
Take your pick.... _________________ Lutz

Or.....
Its a hacked version of TTN3 !
In any event, the value of the device should not take any account of TTN3, unless of course the ipaq and TTN3 are brand new and unopened.

Thanks for the replies, will go for it if the price is what I would pay for a second hand ipaq least then I can buy tom tom out right if it all goes pear shaped.
Whilst writting this a huge thanks to you all your posts are invaluable for a newbie like me. Hope I get to contribute something uuseful in the future.
Cheers
