could any of you clever people please help me out here, ive just purchased the navman smartst v3 software for my pin pocket pc of ebay (original disks), and sd card, when ive tryed to put the software on the card from my pc it wont let me doit sayin that i need to register online and ive no key either, have i been well and truly done or is there any light at the end of the tunnel? anyones help or comments i would be very grateful, thanks.
p.s i currently have smartst version 2 on my ppc ( mitac mio 168)  |

You should have the product codes on the back of the small box containing the CD's.

unfortunatly it does'nt.
it says ' this unit has been pre registered. should u wish to upgrade the unit at a later time, simply connect the unit to your pc via the supplied usb cable and folow the instructions in the user manual. when asked for map or application product keys, please leave these blank and the product will download the req information over the internet.'
i think i may be  in the wind here lads whats anybody elses comments on this? |

As 2TURBOS has stated, the product keys should be on a sticker on the back of the CD case. If the product keys have been removed then the discs are pretty much useless.
If the words "this unit has been pre registered...etc" is in place of the product key sticker then your only option would be to contact Navman and explain the situation as your PiN is obviously different to the sellers PiN (or whatever device he was using), the device ID will be different therefore you will not be able to retrieve the registration information. You cannot activate the v3 application or the maps without a valid product key for both.
