A New problem with TOMTOM GO 300

Hi,

i live in italy and one week ago i have purchased a new TOM TOM GO 300.

Installated into my car (a renault clio 2003) i have noticed that when i connect the ttgo at the " suction-mount cradle, for attaching to your windscreen " the gps signal goes down!!!! but when i disconnect it from the cradle and take it in my hand the SIGNAL GOES UP!!!!

connected to the support works bad (3-4 satellites) ... disconnected from it takes 8+ satellites and good navigation

It's very strange! probably a bug or not?

plz help me...

a little notice..
i have tried my ttgo into different car! a toyota yaris... but the problem is the SAME!!! i have tried also out from the car but i haven't resolved... still same problem!!!

have to admit the same happens to me until i received my external aerial yesterday. DAMN annoying it was - go to the other thread from hedgeusa for others like us
