Kaspersky, well known for their desktop and server anti-virus products have now focussed on PDA's with the release of their Security for PDAs product. With anti-virus scanning and protection as well as DataSafe, a facility to create an encrypted data storage area on your PDA, the Kaspersky Security suite aims to protect your PDA against virus infection and prevent your PDA from harbouring viruses that could subsequently infect your PC. DataSafe is intended to prevent unauthorised users from accessing any sensitive data. Priced at 12.00 it is a small price to pay to protect your data.

In addition, v5.5 is imminent adding additional functionality as well as support for Windows Smartphones and Symbian OS handsets, we will be reviewing this in due course.

Crying or Very sad Purchased Kaspersky for my Dell Axim X30 and it wouldn't install. (I am what you could call an advanced user who works on pc's part-time to keep busy). I emailed Kaspersky twice about my problem, the second time attaching a copy of the first email. As I requested a receipt, I received a notice that it was received AND DELETED by someone in their tech support! Nice, huh? If you want to throw $25.00 USD away suit yourself and buy it.
