Initial tests show that the receiver indeed seems to last a good 20 hours.
Yes, the 8 channel chipset has its disadvantages, especially in dense foliage and urban canyons. 143 dB sensitivity is also not state of the art any more, the GlobalSat BT-338 goes down to 152 dB. (But the BT-338 has a much higher power consumption). The lower price is certainly an advantage of the Solar receiver. _________________ Lutz

It's acceptable for lower price to get one GPS!
However, does it work at basic GPS tracking function also mapping job! |
