Well its 3 weeks now since TT first offered the TTM V5 upgrade on their site and the mine still says"AUTHORISED WAREHOUSE" on the orders page.
unless TT start shipping in the next week even the 5 weeks quoted is begining to look a bit optimistic!. |

I agree totally. Has anybody on here actually received their upgrade yet? Mine is nearly 3 weeks now. Emailed Tom Tom support, apparently when authorised changes to 'Captured' then the order is ready for dispatch or has been dispatched. |

Yes same BS story here. Very shabby on Tomtoms part. They obviously took pre orders and secured our money, so we can't get to it, when they weren't ready to start dispatching upgrades. _________________ TOMTOM MOBILE 5

Hate to say it but 'me to'. Very very poor TT. Why on earth does it take 5 weeks anyway to delivery something? Are they delivering it by foot? _________________ Audi S4

I must admit i dont like the way they do business or treat their customers. Problem is the software is so good, but it makes me wonder why i dont go the pirated software route to be honest, after all in some respects they deserve it. its quite possible they could have got the money authorised on my account but not debited it till the goods where despatched, which is what some other companies do. Anyway i have made my mind up, and its probably cutting my nose off to spite my face, but if i dont get the upgrade within the specified 5 weeks i will cancel it and demand a refund, if need be through the credit card company. |

ordered mine on
21st april which means the 5 week period will be up on the 26th may
order still showing
status: Authorised , Shipping status: Warehouse
i will also be cancelling my order if it don`t land on my doorstep by then
if the upgrade ain`t ready for release then they shouldn`t be allowed to advertise that its available for purchase,
so wheres a tomtom rep , surely there watching this forum,
a few answers / explanation would be nice _________________ iPhone 3Gs 32GB
