Jaguar dealers POI

Does anyone have or know if there is a POI of all the UK Jaguar main dealers.

OK, I have started it, getting all the addresses from Jaguar web site. Will submit when finished.

I have now created the ov2 file with the address data, not sure of the best way to create the icon, I know it should be 22 pixels x 22 pixels and 256 colours but when I resize the Jaguar logo to this it is barely recognisable. Any tips?

Hi John,

22 x 22 pixels unfortunately doesn't give you much to develop a POI bitmap. I suspect that you have already done what I would normally do, which is to grab a suitable logo from the official website and resize it down to 22 x 22. Thumbs Up

Don’t forget that when you are designing the BMP file for the POI and you’ve zoomed it to a much larger size, it will not look right until you display it at the normal size. A good tip is to ensure that if you have a light background that you have a border of a dark colour to emphasise the POI.

If I get a chance, I'll have a go and create a POI bitmap and email it to you. You can then compare it with your version and then try them out on the PDA itself.
