my SD mount has failed (hairline cracks and crmbling on ball joint Mad

) going to get on to tomtom about this ..

but what i want to no is any good alternative mounts out there (seen a few on here) that are universal to swap between cars etc that do not cover the speaker .
i did like the carcom one reveiw dam dear though ..

Give them a ring on 0845 161 0009 and you never know they might send you one of the newer mounts for the x20/ x30 series, see Here - Mike

I did mate today only was on phone 2 min's, just had to scan proff of purchase to sent email from them when i got back . there replacing it.. should be here in 10 days (if the old one lasts)

for mounts (others) i was looking at this what do you reckon, it looks study enough ..

Arkon mounts were reviewed here.

My favourite alternative is the Carcomm mount closely followed by the Brodit ones. More expensive yes but they work superbly and give you a much nicer/neater install.

thanks yea i like that Carcomm dam dear though .. the arkon gear is there no uk supplyer .. and the one i posted on amazon looks very much like it but a differant make.. or OEM
