i am wondering if there is a way to have the warning voices (data.chk) for camera alerts to be placed on teh sd card and not under navigation ...... the reason i ask is because we have been given work pda that we have no access to the pda at allall i can do is get into the sd card ,so putting all my poi in is fine but i can't get my voices or camera alerts on ,so i was wondering if there can be a work around by placing them on the sd card
it seems to be the lastest version of tt5 5.210 (5430) map v562 ..cheap wouldn't give us tt6
thanks _________________ TomTom 5001 |

Use the ogg file warning method instead, the ogg files go into the map folder of the memory card so this should give you what you want, there is a long (ish) thread HERE that explains how to do this and where to get the files from, although with no access to the PDA how do you intend loading the application? - Mike |

Andy, if the application is pre-loaded the ogg warning method should work fine as it uses the memory card, if you intend putting the TT application on to it yourself you might struggle, or find your employer doesn't like you hard resetting the device to put it back to the original configuration, this would of course remove any software they had loaded - Mike |
