I currently have TomTom 3 for UK. I will be taking regular trips to USA for my work and wondered what is the best GPS software that is available for US ?
I would prefer to continue to use TomTom but because of the version issues between UK and US this is not an option. I have seen Destinator 3 and am not too impressed. Any other recomendations? |

I have tried Mapopolis, iGuidance and Destinator. I like iGuidance version 2 the most. It is cheap compared to other software and has some features I really love. For example , the map zooms when you are about to turn. So it is clear where I am turning. I like the color contrast as well. iGuidance allows you to use the software on both Laptop and PDA at the same time if you like. They do not ask for registration # unless you are upgrading from Version 1. So you can still use the software if you switch to a new PDA. I paid $94 when I bought a few month ago. Try Google search or Froogle search, you will find cheapest.

FWIW, iGuidance is yet another name for Intellinav. This product appears under at least 5 names that I am aware of, Socket MyNavigator, Deluo Routis are just two. See our reviews of Deluo here. _________________ Darren Griffin |
