I know that the 740 has a mini USB socket, but is it the 4 or 5 pin version?

There's a nice apparently contradictory two posts . Surely the O/P knows whether he has a mini USB socket or not |

Pure and simple, the GO x40 models such as the GO 740 do NOT have a USB socket on them of any sort.
Neither do the GO x50 models, nor the GO 1000 models for that matter!
They all have just a 20-way multipin connector.
However, as "justbrowsing" says, the dedicated mounts for them DO have a mini-USB connector (and it does have 5 pins). _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Yup, assumed furryfred meant the mount connection, as it would not be possible to confuse a mini-usb with the 20 pin connector. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]
