|

I used my TomTom navigation system for a day then after using ActiveSync to put some music on my storage card, and download Pocket E-Sword, the Tom Tom says, "No maps found!" every time I start up TomTom. Any ideas?
I've got a HTC Touch Diamond http://www.mypocketpcmobile.com/FullReviewHTCTouchDiamond/tabid/247/Default.aspx ...and no one seems to know what to do?!
Cheers, Flint. |

Has the device code changed as a result of being connected to the PC? - do you know what it was before the problem - Mike |

Have you upgraded to 7.901 (is it) by any chance?, possibly knowing or not knowing.
I think you get the No Maps Found message when there is no maps, or they are not compatible with the software version. _________________ TomTom 700 GO user since Dec 2005.

What version of TT do you have? Is it TT6 or TT7? Do you use TT Home and have you got it set to automaticly download updates? If so and you had TT6 you may find that Home has "kindly" updated your system to TT7 version 7.901. The trouble is that TT7 can't read TT6 maps so you have to buy new ones!
I have a Touch Diamond and every time I log onto Home it offers me this upgrade. I have refused up until now. And don't expect any sense or help from TT "support". Their answer will be we don't support TT6 on your phone. And, according to them, Home is making a mistake when offering you TT7 so you should have known that and not downloaded it.
If you have backed up with Explorer or still have original software then you can should be able to re-install TT6 and it should find your old maps again (but don't forget to do a back up before you do so) _________________ Peter
