Hi guys, I've just followed the instructions here
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras-kenwood.php
step by step but for some reason I can't seem to see the speed cameras on the map. I used a SD card and it has written the files to the internal memory of the DNX8220BT without a problem, but still it doesn't want to show the POI's, it shows all the other POI's except for the one I have uploaded, any ideas?? |

err... nevermind, i got it working, for some reason downloading the wrong Garming speedcamera file 'UK Speed Zoned Complete' makes a big difference, correct file was 'UK - Consolidated by Type' |

it should still work with speed zoned?
remember that if you install any other POIs then it will first remove any already installed - perhaps you installed some other POIs after the speed cameras?

I did have some preinstalled before, but then I downloaded the 'UK Speed Zoned Complete' and over wrote the existing files on the Garmin system. It showed all other POI's but not the speed cameras, spent an hour fiddling around with the settings but no joy. Then I followed the Kenwood PDF document which said to use the 'UK - Consolidated by Type' and it worked, strange...
Oh, I didn't install anything after uploading the speed camera files. |
