Does this work
a) with just the unit
b) will it only work with the mount
c) or will it only work with the mount and the cable plugged in ?
Is it better to specify an FM station as mine hardly ever finds TMC info otherwise
Thanks

Not too helpful but at least I'm
I've only used it on (c) so can't say about the other options. But I've had no real problems with reception as such so don't think FM is the point. More likely it's the often reported c**p (er - bad) coverage in the UK (depending on where you are). _________________ David

I normally get reasonable TMC reception, but it does depend on the FM signal. Generally found the reception to be better than the string.
I have found a TMC Y splitter on a German site which allows connection to the car's FM aerial then a USB port plugs into the holder with a thru connector for the power.
I'll track down the link and post it later tonight if anyone is interested. _________________ Navigon 8450 LIVE |
