Hi there,
I have had to change my iPhone as the new one failed!!
I wanted to renew my subscription as its run out but it won't let me as CameraAlert is tied to the old iPhone.
I know you get loads of emails, so rather than email, I have submitted a TICKET in the support section but haven't had a respone as yet... do you know how long these tickets take to get looked at?
Thanks _________________ Steve

Tickets are responded to within a few minutes t most during daylight hours, I'm normally dealing with tickets until I hit bed and then pick them up again as soon as I awake!
Just had a look and your ticket was responded to 2mins after you sent it on 31st Oct.

Hi Steve,
Not a problem!
We have now changed your CamerAlert registration details. Your new iPhone should now be recognised properly and the balance of your subscription applied to it. No further action is required on your part. You DO NOT need to re-link your account to your new phone.
Also, v1.2 of CamerAlert is now (finally) available in the Appstore.
it's a big update and well worth grabbing if you haven't already done so as it has full iOS4 Multi-Tasking, Retina Graphics, Professional Voice Alerts and more.
We'd also be grateful if, as a CamerAlert user, you could post a review in iTunes, good or bad! |

Thanks Darren,
I can't argue with Service like that, and thanks for dealing with my enquiry here so quick....
Probably me being thick but how is a ticket responded?? Where would I see the response??
I certainly haven't seen an email come through, and no messages in my Inbox either.
Cheers

When you log a ticket you should receive an email confirming the fact with reference number and links to view the ticket on-line. Similarly when we respond you should receive an email updating you and containing a link to the updated ticket.
It's definitely working for others, could it have been spam trapped perhaps? _________________ Darren Griffin |

I'll have to have a look when I get home... I don't recall getting either email if I'm honest, and I always check my spam.
Will check tonight and confirm if its me being a plank or if they weren't received....
Cheers again! _________________ Steve

Hi Darren,
Checked my emails - nothing received for when logged a ticket, or when it was actioned...
Checked my Junk Box and Deleted... nothing there either.
Very strange....
It's not a setting I have to change or anything is it?
I'm getting notifications of replies to Topics ok. _________________ Steve

Nope, the email goes out automatically. Plenty of tickets being responded to before and after so the system must be working? _________________ Darren Griffin |

OK, Thanks Darren.
At least posting up has nade me aware its all working fine now - thats the main thing... I'll put it down to maybe me pulling my emails through myiPhone, work and home PC and losing them in the process!!
Cheers for all your help. _________________ Steve

It has been discussed and we are looking at an Android version. I say 'looking' because so far we have found the Android development environment much less friendly and we're struggling with a number of aspects.
But we love a good challenge. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Great! I want to be the first buyer. I just received a Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet and, as I said in another thread, CoPilot looks fantastic on the 7" screen and I'm sure CamerAlert will be great too. |
