What in peoples opinions are the best mounts. Are the windscreen mount sor Vent mounts.

Windscreen mounts can suffer from vibration unless you somehow ground them on the dashboard.

Vent mounts are potentially too low, forcing you to glance down all the time. Some vents are constructed in a way that the mount doesn't even work.

I would say that a windshield mount is the preferred solution of the two.

Neither IMHO, the best are the Brodit PDA Cradles coupled with their Pro-Clip (a car specific clip that does not require drilling any holes). See our reviews here and here.
