It sounds like you are trying to open a file from within the zipfile. You need to extrct the individual files first. _________________ Tim |

ok got that sorted but now, thankyou. I have a long list of files that my POI editor will not allow me to sellect all and send to my navman. The only way is to send each one individually. I have tried Ctrl+A and right clicking etc, any ideas please? |

Unfortunately, that's the way Navman chose to implement their Custom POI import facility. Each file is converted into a proprietary format. I'm afraid that it's a file-by-file import or nothing. One way to get the number of files down is to choose the all-in one file (only one file to import) or the cameras by type option, which is half a dozen or so. _________________ Tim |

I have tried to download the cameras in a consolodated by ytpe format but my navman still opens the file when I try to save it to the device. So am I correct in saying the only way to download is to save each of the cameras individualy and I have to rename each one? |

How do you mean, your Navman opens the file? How are you trying to save it to the device? _________________ Tim |

That is what is meant to happen! The Navman POIEditor opens the file. It has to to convcert it to Navman's proprietary format. Once it has done that, click on File then from the dropdown menu, Save to device. Then another window should open for you to set the file as active, set warning distance, etc..
Have you read the Help instructions here? _________________ Tim |

I'm still not quite with you. You have a long list of cameras in the POIEditor, so I'm confused as to your comment that 'all of that happens for each camera'.
The simple answer is 'No, you are not meant to enter each camera seperately. You are meant to transfer the whole file.'
If you lived near me, I'd come and show you what I mean. _________________ Tim |

I think the confusion is creeping in around steps 5 and 6 in the instructions there was a very similar question last week.
Where you open a speed camera file and it lists all the individual locations on the screen only the first entry is highlighted, when you select "Save to Device" it will transfer ALL the camera locations within that list in a single transfer.
You DO NOT have to transfer each individual location within the file to the device - Mike |

How could you have forgotten "the similar question last week" Tim!
Maybe a tweak to the instructions is in order, as this is the second time? |
