|
|
I recently subscribed to thuis site as it said camera updates where compatable with my viamichelin X950 Sat Nav.
However, when I try to do this, it now says version 6 and above, (mine is version 5)
I have attempted to load to my device, all seems ok, explored device, clicked on chipset, cameras appear to have loaded.
Checked poi menu on device and ticked cameras.
No cameras appear on map.
Is this because it's not compatable with version 5.
Is there anyway round this? |

Hi and welcome.
Where does it say it only compatible with versions 6 and above?
The instructions here mention Version 4 so i can't see why version 5 wouldn't work.

Have you actually been out and tried it? You may have to zoom in close to see any. |

Using Content Manager select 'POI Manager' then 'Personal POIs'.
Select the category made in the previous steps and click on 'Update Category'.
Select the relevent .asc file from the download and click OK.
Repeat for each camera category. |

As we have refunded you earlier based on the possible incompatibility I trust you will now delete the database you downloaded _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yes, I have now deleted unusable database.
I just thought if anyone new a way round the problem, I would have let you know and re-subscribed.
I would be much happier if I could have used this site!
It's a shame it doesn't work for me! |

One of our team is certain that it works under version 5. We can't confirm this because it was bricked when he tried to update to version 6 but it was running cameras prior to this.
Given the small number of Vm users and its demise I'm afraid a future upgrade to another device may be the best solution though. _________________ Darren Griffin |
