I have just purchased a navman S90i. It already has speed cameras on it. Do I have to delete these before downloading the latest database? If so how. Also, unlike other models of Navman, it requires files to be in CSV format. Can I download the necessary files simply by selecting an appropriate Sat nav manufacturer.

There is no simple way to get rid of them but if you're really keen you can try this. |

Other models of Navman also use csv files. However, if they are in another format you can change them during loading.

If you simply want up to date Navman Speed Cameras, with their Directional notificiations, and speed-sensitive warnings, plus recently added mobile and red-light support then keeping what you've got, plus subscribing for up to date database info is the best option - via the Navman.com website
If you want the PGPSW database with all its inclusions, then you can either run both along side each other or simply untick the Navman ones from the POIs list, for no notifications
Be warned, if you install all 18,000 on the PGPSW database it really slows down you Navman - this may be fixed now with the Service Pack 1 Update (available FOC from the Navman.com website), but haven't tried installing the PGPSW database since updating |
