TomTom launch TRUCKER 6000

TomTom have launched a new truck centric satnav, the TRUCKER 6000. Targeted at drivers of large vehicles, TRUCKER provides custom routing software which takes the type of vehicle, its weight, speed and even its load into consideration when creating a route.
Equipped with a 6-inch touch screen display that supports pinch, zoom and swipe gestures, TRUCKER also comes with a magnetic mount and Lifetime Truck Maps which provide quarterly map updates at no extra cost.
Corinne Vigreux, co-founder and managing director, TomTom Consumer said: “One of the most important things is for truckers to be able to complete deliveries on time. That’s why we designed the TomTom TRUCKER with truck-specific routing, and world-class TomTom Traffic information, to enable them to be as efficient as possible with the limited time they are allowed to drive.”
