TomTom get busy at The Paris Motor Show

TomTom have been busy at this week's Paris Motor Show with a raft of announcements.

They have confirmed that Peugeot's enhanced i-Cockpit will feature TomTom Maps and Traffic on the 8-inch centrally mounted touchscreen and the 12-inch instrument panel.

TomTom BRIDGE, their driver terminal that connects businesses with their drivers, will be the first to feature next-generation maps using the Navigation Data Standard (NDS) map format.

TomTom are partnering with NVIDIA to create a mapping system for self-driving cars. They will combine TomTom's HD maps with NVIDIA's DRIVE PX 2 computing platform to offer car manufacturers an open solution for the development of autonomous vehicles

Volvo Trucks has chosen TomTom as they connected navigation supplier for their new infotainment platform which will launch in 2017 and Volkswagen Group has extended their partnership with the addition of Skoda models beginning with the Skoda Kodiaq.

What, have TomTom actually re-added Third Party POI support for all of their SatNav products? Laughing

Sorry I know that it's an old joke but so is TomTom for not providing Third Party POI support! Evil or Very Mad
