TomTom have today announced a major expansion of their map data in Latin America.

Version 2011.03 of Multinet now covers 21 million miles of road across 103 countries world-wide with the latest update expanding coverage in Argentina, Brazil, French Guiana and Mexico.

French Guiana is a new addition with coverage for 100% of the population, handy if you are a worker at the Space Centre in Kourou.

Further enhancements include the Address Points product which now includes the Czech Republic, India, Indonesia and Malaysia with an additional 500,000 points in the United States and 120,000 in Russia.

The data is now available to TomTom Map Licencing partners. For more information see www.tomtom.com/licensing.
