A road in Denbighshire, Wales has become a "biker racetrack", and speed cameras have been blamed.

A local councillor says that since point-to-point speed cameras were installed on the A5104 between Rhydtalog and Corwen, there has been a noticeable increase in speeding biker on the nearby A494.

It seems that the bikers have changed their routes to avoid the devices.

The councillor added: "I'm really concerned about the amount of traffic that has joined the A494 in the last few weeks. There has been a big increase in speeding motorcycles using this road because of the restrictions from Llandegla to the Corwen road with the average speed limits so they are by-passing that road and coming down here. It is turning into a racetrack and local residents have had enough and we are calling on the Welsh Government to do something."

A Welsh Government spokesman said the other road will be monitored.
