A "Speed Camera Boss" who received a driving ban after being caught at over 100mph in 2009, has now been banned again after being caught on his mobile phone while driving.
Tom Riall, 58, who was once chief executive of Serco, the company which installed approximately 4,500 speed and red light cameras across the UK, was given a 6 month disqualification.
He denied the charge, but was found guilty. Along with the ban he was also handed a £2,500 fine and ordered to pay £640 costs along with a £250 victim surcharge.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "Due to it being a high fine, we put a press release out as we want to set an example and show people why they should not be on their phone whilst driving."
